Congress open to passing bill on immigration

Congress will approve an immigration bill that will grant citizenship rights to most of the 12 million to 20 million illegal aliens in the U.S. after Democrats take control next month, predict both sides on Capitol Hill.

Only if the Republican party and/or conservatives have forgotten how to fight.

Immigration Services Bureau’s Ineptitude Endangers Americans

This article published by “Government Executive” is of great significance because of one simple fact: the immigration system has no integrity! As you read the article (about the processing of up to 30,000 citizenship applications in 2005 without reviewing critical background files), you will notice that a link has been provided to a GAO report that documents the ineptitude and incompetence of USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) …

Virginia Minutemen Battling Illegal Immigration Statewide

The Virginia Chapter of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (“MCDC”) is holding the first in a series of town hall-style meetings in Culpeper, VA on Thursday, December 7th at 7:00 PM.

The meeting will be held in the VFW Post 2524 at 12210 Sperryville Pike and is open to the public. Picture identification will be required to be shown upon entry.

Media is invited to attend.

Culpeper (Virginia) has a rich Minuteman history going back to the Revolutionary War when in response to the rising threat of a war with Great Britain the largest battalion of Minutemen was formed in Culpeper to take measures for defense of the colony.

This first in a series of meetings throughout Virginia will focus on providing information to citizens and elected officials in the local municipalities on what they can do to alleviate the impact of illegal aliens within their municipality. In January, similar meetings will be held in Leesburg, Manassas, and Woodbridge, with additional meetings being scheduled at this time.

Violence erupted at a Michigan law school Thursday when protestors tried to block a speech by Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo.

Police were called after protestors pulled a fire alarm prior to the speech on immigration policies. There were at least three violent incidents with protestors targeting student backers of the event, Tancredo, R-Littleton, said today.

Breaking Mexico

… Mexico is in an unparalleled situation where two popular political factions are locked in a struggle to the death. This offers an amazing opportunity for any group (even a very small one) to completely disrupt the Mexico through the methods of systems disruption that worked so well in Iraq. Like most modern developing states, the Mexican state is highly reliant on critical infrastructure to deliver political goods. Disruption of this infrastructure over an extended period would quickly delegitimize the Mexican state and force a violent political struggle and substantial fragmentation. In effect, Mexico could become a failed state.

Here’s on potential method of how it could happen….

The Real face of the ‘Tolerant and Progressive’ Left

And thugs like these tell me that I’m not a real Democrat. On the contrary–It’s these fascist bullies who resort to violence to silence those with whom they disagree who are the imposters. There’s certainly nothing ‘progressive’ about declaring you won’t let someone speak because their ideas differ from yours. That tactic, in fact, is quite familiar in a retro Lenin/Stalin Lenin sort of way, and their concomitant ‘tolerant and progressive’ death squads.

I am all for new anti-jihad movements. The more the better. There is certainly a great deal of work to be done, and no one can say he is doing it all or can do it all himself. House Intel chair: Silvestre Reyes

Allah points to this Fox News report on Pelosi’s pick. The Dems will play up Reyes’ Border Patrol experience as evidence of his law enforcement bona fides and trustworthiness. I remind you of Reyes’ crony scandal involving a no-bid contract…

Pelosi names Silvestre Reyes chairman of House Intel Committee

No surprise after she torpedoed Hastings and Harman. He’s a Vietnam vet, a former Border Patrol officer, and once served as chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. Plus, he’s got the “right ideas” about immigration.

Just to balance it out, here’s a little Tancredomania for our true believers. The feud with Jeb is over — for now.

45,000 terror-threat illegals released into U.S. population

Half of the 91,516 illegal aliens from terror-sponsoring countries and those of “special interest” apprehended at the border between 2001 and 2005 were released into the U.S. population, according to a report by the inspector general’s office of the Department of Homeland Security.

The report, “Detention and Removal of Illegal Aliens,” released earlier this year with little fanfare or attention, suggests about 85 percent of those aliens – potentially the most dangerous – would abscond and likely never be seen by authorities again.

London stock trader says plans afoot to replace dollar with “amero”

It’s the latest moronic twist in the moronic North American Union conspiracy theory. And yes, I’m sad to say, we’ve already gotten credulous e-mails about it.

In an interview with CNBC, a vice president for a prominent London investment firm yesterday urged a move away from the dollar to the “amero,” a coming North American currency, he said, that “will have a big impact on everybody’s life, in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico.”

Christopher Caldwell scrutinizes illegal immigration into Spain. How’s it working out? Spain is now about 10 percent first-generation immigrant, and this has happened overnight.
